James Johnson is a talented musician, songwriter, and music technologist from Santa Barbara, CA. James studied music theory, vocal technique, songwriting, commercial music performance, and audio production in the Santa Barbara City College (SBCC) Music Department and has been a featured artist with SBCC Songwriters. James has performed in countless nightclubs and restaurants throughout the Santa Barbara area since the 1980’s. He has released three independently produced EPs – Katherine’s Star, Sundowner, and The Finger. In addition to his own work, he has contributed to studio recording projects for local Santa Barbara bands and produced audio for commercial advertising.
